Chart depicting Basic derivation of units. We will consider SI Units since we are following SI convention in India & in most countries globally. We will come across most of these units through the duration of our studies, refer to it when in doubt.

Macro/Micro Prefixes
In order to deal with extremely small or large numbers easily, we add these prefixes before the unit to denote the magnitude by which the number that follows is bigger or smaller when compared to the standard unit
